About Us : Oakley Stable

I've been running Oakley Stable at a small backyard horse farm for about 30 years.
I've been an independent horse back riding instructor/trainer for more then 20 years.

There hasn't been a time when I was not interested and obsessed with horses.

I began riding when I was four years old and haven't stopped since.
My first lesson was with Anne Gribbons.

Between the ages of 8 and 12, I owned my first horse, and trained my first thoroughbred to ride.
I then began breaking thoroughbreds for the race track and continued teaching riding lessons.

I started my career working with race horses around age 14. Currently I continue to work with every aspect of horse racing as a groom;
Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, and Harness.

I have shown horses, trained out of my backyard very successfullly.

My specialties include;
Teaching beginner through advanced riders,
Developing programs for horse and rider
Standardbred Pleasure Horse Training
